Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Google Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting our Google-focused projects across various business units throughout the UK. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, with a strong emphasis on business objectives and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, acting as a central point of contact for project communications and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and finalizing Google-related projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, and external vendors, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Manage project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate resources and logistics for project meetings, workshops, and presentations.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, and collaborate with the Project Manager to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the preparation of business cases, project proposals, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to Capgemini's project methodologies and Google's best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a project coordination or administrative support role, preferably within a technology or consulting environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
  • A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other Google enterprise products.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation).
  • Experience working in a large, multinational organization.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies.
