Job Description
Join TransPerfect as an Entry Level Service Assistant specializing in transcription services. This is a foundational role ideal for individuals eager to start a career in the fast-paced language services industry. You will be responsible for supporting our transcription team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of various audio and video materials. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent listening skills, and a commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video recordings accurately and efficiently, adhering to strict style guides and deadlines.
- Perform quality assurance checks on transcribed documents to ensure precision and completeness.
- Organize and manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and any potential issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive client information.
- Utilize transcription software and tools effectively to enhance productivity.
- Support senior transcriptionists and project managers with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional listening skills and strong command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
