Job Description

Join Amazon’s Brand Protection team as a Retail Review Classifier, focusing on safeguarding our marketplace from fraudulent listings and brand infringements. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of Amazon’s product catalog by meticulously reviewing retail product listings, identifying policy violations, and taking appropriate action to protect intellectual property and consumer trust. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding Amazon’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of product listings, images, and descriptions to ensure compliance with Amazon's brand protection policies and guidelines.
  • Identify and classify various types of policy violations, including counterfeit products, unauthorized use of intellectual property, and deceptive practices.
  • Utilize internal tools and systems to log findings, take appropriate corrective actions, and escalate complex cases to senior investigators.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and seller support, to resolve issues and improve policy enforcement.
  • Stay updated on evolving brand protection strategies, intellectual property laws, and marketplace trends to enhance classification accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of classification guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry, content review, or a related field requiring high attention to detail
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using web browsers and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Law, Communications)
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail operations, or brand protection/IP enforcement
  • Familiarity with intellectual property concepts (trademarks, copyrights, patents)
  • Experience with database systems or content management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and decisions under pressure
