Job Description

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Remote Environmental Compliance Reviewer. This is an entry-level position offering comprehensive training for candidates eager to build a career in environmental compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects and clients adhere to environmental regulations and standards, working entirely from home. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed reviews of project documentation, permits, and reports for compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, Clean Air Act, CWA).
  • Identify potential compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance reports, permit applications, and other regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain organized records of compliance activities and documentation.
  • Participate in internal training programs and professional development to stay current with environmental laws and best practices.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to project teams and stakeholders.

  • Basic understanding of GIS software or environmental databases.
