Job Description
As a Google Digital Ad Traffic Coordinator at Anthology Group, you will be integral to the smooth and efficient execution of our digital advertising campaigns, with a primary focus on Google Ads. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of digital advertising principles. You will be responsible for coordinating ad creative, trafficking assets, and diligently monitoring campaign performance to ensure client objectives are met and exceeded. Working closely with our media buyers, creative team, and account managers, you will play a crucial part in delivering successful and high-performing digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection and delivery of digital ad creative assets to various ad platforms, with a strong focus on Google Ads (Search, Display, Video).
- Implement, monitor, and optimize Google Ads campaigns under the guidance of media strategists, ensuring adherence to client goals and budget.
- Ensure all ad specifications, tagging, and tracking mechanisms are correctly implemented and tested prior to campaign launch.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance checks on live campaigns to verify accuracy, functionality, and compliance with platform guidelines.
- Generate regular, detailed performance reports, analyzing data to identify trends, derive actionable insights, and make recommendations for continuous optimization.
- Communicate campaign status updates, potential issues, and performance insights clearly and effectively to internal teams and clients.
- Stay abreast of Google Ads best practices, platform changes, new features, and emerging digital advertising trends to inform strategy and execution.
- Assist with campaign budgeting, forecasting, and the reconciliation of billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, account, and media teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with the Google Ads platform (Search, Display, Video campaigns).
- Strong understanding of core digital advertising concepts and key performance indicators (e.g., CPM, CPC, CTR, ROAS, conversions).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and identify actionable solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven agency environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Ads certification(s) (e.g., Search, Display, Video, Shopping).
- Experience with other ad trafficking tools or platforms (e.g., Google Marketing Platform, DV360, Campaign Manager 360).
- Familiarity with web analytics tools suchs as Google Analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience working in an advertising or marketing agency setting.
