Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our Fort Worth team within the Beauty division. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be crucial in upholding the integrity and premium quality of our renowned beauty products. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously inspect every product, from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring compliance with L’Oréal’s stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires an unwavering commitment to detail, a sharp eye for imperfections, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential quality issues before they reach our valued consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed visual and physical inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished beauty products.
- Verify product specifications against established quality standards, blueprints, and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and document any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality benchmarks.
- Operate and maintain basic inspection equipment and tools.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Prepare samples for further laboratory testing as required.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to meticulously follow written instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple inspection tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of basic quality control principles (training provided).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant industry standards.
- Experience using measurement tools and visual inspection techniques.
