Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and finance-oriented Pinterest Account Auditor to join our dynamic team in Spokane. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial accuracy, compliance, and optimal performance of our clients’ Pinterest advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of digital advertising finance and reporting. You will be responsible for reconciling campaign spend, verifying invoices, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring all financial data aligns with client agreements and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of Pinterest advertising accounts to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with client contracts.
- Reconcile monthly spend data from Pinterest ad platforms with internal financial records and client billing.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies in campaign performance, billing, and financial reporting.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with account managers, media buyers, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and improve data integrity.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant advertising regulations and internal financial policies.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and campaign efficiency related to Pinterest investments.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement in financial tracking and auditing procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital advertising operations or financial auditing, preferably with social media platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting findings and collaborating with teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of direct experience with Pinterest Ads platform or other major social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with financial reporting tools or advertising analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with ad agency operations and client service models.
