Job Description

Are you a compassionate and proactive individual looking to start or grow your career in healthcare? Nuffield Health is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Aide to join our private practice in Sale, Greater Manchester. In this vital support role, you will work alongside our experienced physiotherapists, assisting with patient care, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional and supportive environment, contributing directly to patient rehabilitation and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient sessions, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Assist physiotherapists with patient transfers, mobility exercises, and various treatment modalities.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, notifying staff of replenishment needs.
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling enquiries.
  • Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all patients and visitors.
  • Provide basic assistance and support to patients during their clinic visits.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Assist with laundry and general tidiness of the physiotherapy department.

  • Vocational qualification in healthcare support or a related field.
  • First Aid certification.
