Job Description

Are you passionate about music and love working with young children? Bright Horizons in Provo, UT, is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Preschool Music Instructor to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging music lessons that introduce preschoolers to the joy of rhythm, melody, and movement. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate music curriculum for preschool-aged children.
  • Lead interactive music sessions focusing on rhythm, singing, movement, and instrument exploration.
  • Introduce children to various musical styles and cultures.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel comfortable participating.
  • Manage classroom materials and ensure a safe and organized learning space.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to integrate music into broader educational themes.
  • Communicate children's progress and musical development to parents as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for music and early childhood education.
  • Ability to sing in tune and lead musical activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing or holding a degree/certificate in Music, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Experience with various musical instruments suitable for children (e.g., ukulele, recorder, percussion).
  • Familiarity with established early childhood music programs (e.g., Orff, Kodály, Dalcroze).
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
