Job Description
Join Walgreens as a Pharmacy Technician on our casual weekend roster in Green Bay, WI. Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Process prescription requests, including data entry, insurance claims, and patient billing.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations related to pharmacy practice.
- Operate pharmacy systems and equipment, including point-of-sale terminals.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting (6 months+)
- Experience with pharmacy management software (e.g., Intercom Plus)
- Customer service experience
