Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them with their pharmacy needs, including prescription drop-off and pick-up.
  • Process prescription and over-the-counter transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
  • Stock shelves and organize inventory, ensuring products are readily available.
  • Assist pharmacy staff with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing and data entry.
  • Learn and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations related to pharmacy operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and adapt to change quickly.
