Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Pharmacy Auditing Clerk to join our team. This fully remote position is critical for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of pharmacy claims and transactions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity. You will be responsible for reviewing pharmacy records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring all documentation adheres to regulatory and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of pharmacy claims, prescriptions, and related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in billing, coding, and record-keeping.
  • Reconcile audit findings with internal systems and external records.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and summaries of findings.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and other staff to resolve audit issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay informed about relevant pharmacy regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and sensitive data.
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks as needed to support auditing functions.

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting (retail, hospital, or PBM).
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmaceutical claims processing.
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).
