Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our team as an EA Sports Data Entry Specialist with a focus on Sports Statistics. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of sports data that powers our world-class EA Sports titles. You will meticulously collect, verify, and input statistical data from various sports, contributing directly to the authenticity and realism of our games. This position requires a strong understanding of sports, an impeccable eye for detail, and a commitment to data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update sports statistics, player data, team rosters, and other relevant information into internal databases.
- Verify data against multiple reliable sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in data, collaborating with source teams if necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of data sources and updates.
- Assist in the development and refinement of data entry processes and tools.
- Provide feedback on data quality issues and suggest improvements.
- Adhere to strict data entry deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with game development and quality assurance teams to ensure data is correctly integrated and displayed.
- Stay updated on current sports trends, rules, and player statistics.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong passion for sports and a comprehensive understanding of sports statistics (e.g., football, basketball, soccer).
- Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic analytical skills for data verification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in data entry, sports journalism, or statistical analysis.
