Job Description
We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Courier for a critical, high-security, 100% indoor role within our state-of-the-art facility in Henderson, NV. As a Pharmaceutical Courier, you will be responsible for the secure and timely internal transport of sensitive pharmaceutical products, adhering strictly to all security protocols, chain of custody procedures, and regulatory guidelines. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to operate within a highly controlled environment. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring the integrity and availability of essential medications.
Key Responsibilities
- Securely transport pharmaceutical products, samples, and documents between designated internal locations within the facility.
- Strictly adhere to all established security protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines (e.g., GMP/GDP).
- Verify product integrity, quantity, and associated documentation for all items before, during, and after transport.
- Maintain precise chain of custody records for all transfers using designated systems.
- Operate specialized handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts) as required for safe product movement.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with security personnel, inventory staff, pharmacy technicians, and other internal teams.
- Proactively identify and report any discrepancies, security concerns, or potential risks immediately to appropriate supervisors.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all transport equipment.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to meticulously follow strict security and operational protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage sensitive materials.
- Demonstrated reliability, trustworthiness, and a high level of personal integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a highly secure and regulated environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted, and to stand/walk for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security-sensitive role, logistics, or a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Certification in hazardous materials handling (e.g., IATA, DOT) or willingness to obtain.
