Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a private family setting in Burbank, CA. This is a full-time, ongoing position with consistent weekly payouts for reliable and dedicated individuals. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, responsible, proactive, and have a genuine passion for childcare. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for the children, ensuring their well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, focusing on their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities, including educational games, creative arts, outdoor play, and outings.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Assist with homework and school projects, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized children's area, including tidying up toys, clothes, and play spaces.
- Manage children's schedules, including school pickups/drop-offs, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and security of the children at all times.
- Perform light household duties related to childcare, such as children's laundry and meal prep cleanup.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Child development coursework or degree.
- Experience with children of varying age groups.
- Knowledge of various child-rearing philosophies.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
