Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Museum Cloakroom Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for our visitors’ personal belongings, allowing them to fully enjoy their museum experience. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining order in the cloakroom area, and adhering to our security protocols. This position offers a quiet, supportive working environment within one of Liverpool’s most iconic cultural institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all museum visitors as they arrive at the cloakroom.
- Safely receive, store, and retrieve personal items such as coats, bags, and umbrellas.
- Issue and manage cloakroom tickets accurately to ensure correct item return.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the cloakroom area at all times.
- Respond to visitor inquiries and provide general assistance as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all security procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Report any lost or found items and suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
