Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cable Sorter to join our dynamic team at a state-of-the-art telecoms warehouse in Harrogate. This entry-level role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and organization of our operations. You will be responsible for the sorting, inspection, and preparation of various telecommunications cables and equipment, ensuring they are ready for dispatch or storage. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and categorize incoming telecommunications cables and equipment.
  • Inspect cables for damage, defects, and ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Accurately record and track inventory movements using internal systems.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct packaging and labeling.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
