Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Midstream Logistics Coordinator to join our team at the Houston Hub. This critical role involves managing and optimizing the flow of various energy products through our extensive midstream network. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation, storage, and delivery activities, ensuring efficient and timely operations while adhering to strict safety and regulatory guidelines. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling and movement of crude oil, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and other refined products through pipelines, barges, trucks, and rail.
  • Monitor inventory levels at various storage facilities and terminals, optimizing storage utilization and minimizing demurrage.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (operations, commercial, accounting) and external partners (customers, carriers, third-party logistics providers).
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, BOLs, and other regulatory paperwork.
  • Utilize logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to track shipments, manage data, and generate reports.
  • Identify and resolve logistical issues, delays, and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and execution when necessary.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations within the midstream, oil & gas, or petrochemical industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of midstream logistics operations, including pipeline, marine, rail, and truck transportation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to hazardous materials transportation.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software for scheduling and optimization.
