Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and customer-focused Luxury Tour Chauffeur with a specialized interest in historical and city tours. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a premium, private tour experience to our clients, navigating them through the scenic and historic landmarks of Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, and surrounding Southern California regions. This role requires exceptional driving skills, extensive knowledge of local history and points of interest, impeccable customer service, and a commitment to safety and discretion. You will curate memorable journeys, offering insightful commentary and ensuring every detail of the tour is executed flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate luxury vehicles for private historical and city tours.
- Provide engaging and informative commentary on local landmarks, history, and culture.
- Plan and execute efficient tour routes, adapting to client preferences and traffic conditions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and punctuality.
- Ensure vehicles are meticulously clean, fueled, and in excellent operating condition before and after each tour.
- Assist clients with luggage and provide a comfortable, courteous experience.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Manage client itineraries and schedules effectively.
- Handle client inquiries and special requests with grace and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional chauffeuring or high-end hospitality driving experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Southern California's historical sites, cultural attractions, and general geography.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in all situations.
- Strong navigational skills, including proficiency with GPS and mapping applications.
- Impeccable personal presentation and demeanor.
- Punctuality and reliability are paramount.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a private tour guide or luxury chauffeur specializing in tours.
- Multilingual capabilities (especially Spanish, Mandarin, or Japanese).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Advanced defensive driving course completion.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operations and maintenance checks.
