Job Description
Are you passionate about media, data, and the ever-evolving digital landscape? MediaCom is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Media Planner to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile account, contributing to media strategies for a major entertainment client, specifically within the Netflix advertising ecosystem. This 100% remote role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual looking to kickstart their career in media planning and gain invaluable experience with a leading global agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior planners in developing, executing, and optimizing media plans across various digital channels (e.g., social, display, video, search).
- Conduct market research and audience analysis to identify key insights and trends relevant to client objectives.
- Support the preparation of media briefs, presentations, and reports for internal teams and clients.
- Monitor campaign performance, gather data, and assist in compiling post-campaign analyses.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., ad operations, analytics, creative) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest media trends, ad technologies, and industry best practices, particularly within the entertainment and streaming sectors.
- Manage media vendor relationships, including scheduling meetings and organizing communication.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of all planning deliverables.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated interest in digital media, advertising, and the entertainment industry.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in media, marketing, or advertising.
- Familiarity with media planning software or ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360).
- Understanding of key media metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks, CTR, CPM, CPA).
- Experience with project management tools.
