Job Description
Are you 15 years old and eager to gain your first work experience in a fun, fast-paced retail environment? Target is looking for enthusiastic and reliable young individuals to join our team as Retail Helpers! Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with locating products and provide friendly directional support.
- Help maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including tidying shelves and displays.
- Support the stocking team by helping to unpack and organize merchandise in designated areas.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and ensure they are available for guests.
- Assist with basic cleaning tasks to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive atmosphere.
- Learn and adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Must be 15 years of age at the time of application.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10-15 pounds frequently throughout a shift.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience volunteering or assisting in school/community events.
- A genuine interest in retail and customer service.
- Basic math skills for simple tasks.
