Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reality TV Logger to join our fast-paced production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulously logging footage, transcribing dialogue, and identifying key moments and storylines from raw reality television content. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities
- Log raw reality TV footage with time codes, detailed descriptions of actions, dialogue, and key events.
- Transcribe on-camera interviews, conversations, and sound bites accurately.
- Identify and tag compelling moments, character developments, and potential story arcs.
- Create detailed notes and summaries for producers and editors.
- Assist with organizing and managing media assets within the production workflow.
- Communicate effectively with editorial and production teams regarding footage specifics.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all logged data.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity with reality television formats and storytelling techniques.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a logger or assistant editor in TV production.
- Experience with logging software (e.g., Avid Interplay, Strata, CatDV).
- Knowledge of post-production workflows.
- A degree or certificate in Film, Television Production, or a related field.
