Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our remote team, focusing on network protection. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events from various sources (SIEM, EDR, network logs).
- Assist in the initial analysis and triage of security incidents, determining their nature and scope.
- Support the investigation of network security incidents, including malware analysis and phishing attempts.
- Participate in vulnerability scanning and assist with remediation efforts.
- Help maintain security documentation and incident response playbooks.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to understand and implement network security best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security monitoring and incident response processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Exposure to cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
