Job Description
Are you 14 years old and eager to start your first job in a lively and welcoming environment? Greggs in Headingley, Leeds, is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Team Member. No previous experience is required – we’re seeking positive, eager learners who are ready to dive in! This is an excellent chance to gain valuable work experience, develop essential customer service skills, and earn your own money. You will be fully trained and supported by a friendly team every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly and providing excellent service with a smile.
- Assisting customers with their orders and serving delicious food and beverages.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the store, including customer areas and food preparation zones.
- Restocking product displays and ensuring items are fresh and appealing.
- Learning and strictly adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Operating the till accurately and handling customer payments (cash and card) under supervision as appropriate.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
