Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and safety-conscious individuals to join our warehouse team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to a ‘Zero Incident Facility’, ensuring all operations are conducted with the highest safety standards in mind. You will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, and packing products, while strictly adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to working in a safe and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care.
- Operate various types of warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely after proper training.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or near misses immediately to management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and uphold safety standards.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- High School Diploma or GED.
