Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This part-time position is specifically designed to accommodate school hours, running from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. If you are a proactive individual with strong administrative skills looking for a flexible work schedule, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading aerospace and defense company while balancing personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments and team members.
  • Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, room setup, and material preparation.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing as appropriate.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with data entry and basic record-keeping tasks.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role within a corporate environment.

  • Familiarity with the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Associate's degree or relevant certification in office administration.
