Job Description

No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Transporting patients via wheelchair, bed, or trolley between wards, departments, and examination rooms.
- Delivering and collecting medical records, specimens, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital.
- Assisting with the safe movement of deceased patients to the mortuary.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of transport equipment.
- Responding promptly to requests and carrying out tasks efficiently and courteously.
- Providing a compassionate and supportive presence for patients during transit.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle manual handling tasks.
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or care environment (though not required, it's preferred).
- Knowledge of basic hygiene and infection control principles.
- First Aid certification.
