Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training sessions and mentorship programs.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance services under supervision, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and diagnostics, learning proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs and report findings accurately.
- Learn to use and maintain various shop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating service needs and completion times when interacting with clients.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in automotive systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a basic automotive shop course or vocational training.
- Prior experience in a customer service role.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
