Job Description
We are seeking passionate and skilled Private Piano Teachers to join our vibrant team in Downey, California. This role offers flexible hours, allowing you to manage your schedule while inspiring students in their musical journey. You will provide individualized piano instruction to students of varying ages and abilities, either in their homes, at an approved studio location, or potentially through online platforms. We are looking for dedicated educators who can create engaging lesson plans, cultivate a positive learning environment, and motivate students to excel. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, individualized piano instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs and goals.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians regarding progress and upcoming events.
- Maintain a professional and positive learning environment.
- Prepare students for recitals, examinations, and other performance opportunities.
- Adhere to Yamaha Music School's curriculum guidelines and teaching standards.
- Manage scheduling and attendance records efficiently.

- Certification in Yamaha Music Education System or equivalent.
- Experience teaching both children and adults.
- Ability to teach other instruments in addition to piano.
- Access to a well-maintained piano or digital keyboard for studio use.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home-based lessons.
