Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Front Desk Attendant to join our dynamic team in Austin. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service. You will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors, playing a critical role in creating a welcoming and efficient office experience. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain composure under pressure, and deliver a positive impression is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist all visitors, employees, and vendors, providing a positive first impression.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls and taking messages accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring proper distribution and tracking.
  • Maintain the tidiness and professional appearance of the reception area and common spaces.
  • Assist with scheduling meeting rooms and managing conference room resources.
  • Process security badges and manage visitor access in compliance with company protocols.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations and address inquiries effectively.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to ensure a seamless visitor and employee experience.
  • Assist with event coordination and setup for internal meetings and functions.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) or similar office suites.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a large corporate or tech campus environment.
  • Familiarity with visitor management systems and office security protocols.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
