Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Food Blogger Assistant with a strong focus on Pinterest Pin Strategy to join our digital content team in New Port Richey, FL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding the reach and engagement of our food-related content through strategic Pinterest marketing. You will assist our lead food blogger with content planning, creation, scheduling, and performance tracking, with a particular emphasis on designing captivating and high-performing Pinterest pins. This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for food, digital marketing, and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Pinterest strategy to drive traffic and engagement to our food blog content.
- Design visually appealing and brand-consistent Pinterest pins, including static images, video pins, and idea pins.
- Conduct keyword research and trending topic analysis to optimize pin descriptions and boards for discoverability.
- Schedule pins using Pinterest-approved scheduling tools and monitor performance metrics.
- Assist with content calendar planning, topic research, and initial content drafts for blog posts.
- Perform administrative tasks such as organizing digital assets, managing content deadlines, and coordinating with other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest algorithm changes, best practices, and emerging trends in food blogging and digital marketing.
- Support the lead food blogger in various capacities to ensure smooth content production and promotion workflows.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Pinterest for Business and experience with Pinterest analytics.
- Strong graphic design skills, particularly with tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough research on food trends, recipes, and keywords.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for content optimization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing a Pinterest account for a brand or blogger.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Knowledge of food photography and basic photo editing skills.
- Experience with other social media platforms in a professional capacity.
