Job Description
As a FedEx Express Warehouse Aide, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center in Colorado Springs. This position involves handling packages, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and supporting various warehouse functions. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced setting and contribute to our commitment to timely and reliable service. Key Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and unload packages in a safe and efficient manner.
- Scan and record package information using handheld devices.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and quality control checks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily operational targets.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
