Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient FedEx Express Support Analyst to join our team in Bloomington, MN. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our streaming services and related technologies. You will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, provide exceptional support to internal stakeholders, and contribute to the overall stability and efficiency of our global logistics infrastructure. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of IT support principles and a passion for tackling challenges head-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to streaming technologies and associated IT infrastructure.
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to internal users, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and error reports to identify root causes of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, server, and application development teams, to implement solutions.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge base articles to improve future support efficiency.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
  • Implement proactive measures to prevent recurring issues and enhance system reliability.
  • Assist in the testing and deployment of new streaming technologies and updates.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in IT support or help desk roles.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to streaming media platforms (e.g., video conferencing, content delivery).
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and their impact on streaming.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Nagios, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their streaming services.
  • Previous experience in a logistics or transportation industry.
