Job Description
Are you a motivated and customer-focused individual looking for an exciting opportunity in the food service industry? Texas Roadhouse in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking energetic Restaurant Runners to join our legendary team! In this fast-paced role, you will be crucial in ensuring our guests receive their to-go orders quickly and accurately. You’ll be the friendly face bringing delicious food directly to our guests’ cars, helping to create a memorable and convenient dining experience. This position offers competitive hourly pay plus the opportunity to earn tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and courteously as they arrive for their to-go orders.
- Verify order accuracy and completeness before delivering to the customer.
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders directly to waiting cars in the designated pick-up area.
- Assist with packaging to-go orders, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area, including to-go stations and designated runner areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, and management regarding order status.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
