Job Description
Mobile Bay Music Academy is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-time Woodwind Instructor specializing in Flute and Clarinet. This role involves providing high-quality, individualized and group instruction to students of varying ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced players. The ideal candidate will have a strong performance background, excellent pedagogical skills, and a genuine desire to inspire a love for music in our students. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the vibrant musical community of our academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging and effective private and group lessons for flute and clarinet students.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to student needs and goals.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and examinations, if applicable.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and upcoming events.
- Maintain a professional and inspiring learning environment.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in academy events as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Flute and Clarinet performance.
- Demonstrated ability to teach woodwind instruments to diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Strong pedagogical skills and knowledge of music theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
