Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a FedEx Express Courier in Boulder, CO. As a Courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of packages, ensuring excellent customer service at every stop. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver packages in a designated service area.
- Scan and log packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 75 lbs) and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or courier services.
- Knowledge of the Boulder, CO area and surrounding routes.
- Experience with handheld scanning devices.
