Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our dynamic team in the thriving tech hub of Stockton. This On-site role is crucial for ensuring the quality and playability of our next-generation EA Sports titles. You will be instrumental in identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs, working closely with development teams to deliver exceptional gaming experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans, test cases, and checklists to ensure game quality across various platforms.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems with clear, concise, and reproducible steps.
- Collaborate effectively with development, design, and production teams to understand features and provide timely feedback.
- Perform regression testing, retesting resolved issues, and verifying fixes.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Provide constructive feedback on game design, usability, and overall player experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of game development cycles and QA methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sports simulation games or EA Sports titles.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) or experience with automation tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field.
