Job Description

This full-time position requires no prior experience as we provide comprehensive, paid training to equip you with all the necessary skills and certifications. Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake, and output, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a positive healing environment.
- Assist nurses and other medical staff with various tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Participate actively in the paid training program and demonstrate a commitment to learning.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required; ability to successfully complete paid training program.
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to care for others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documentation and patient care.
- Physical stamina to perform patient care tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service or caregiving experience (informal or formal).
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification (will be provided during training if not already held).
