Job Description
Join Trimble Inc.’s innovative team as an Architectural Data Labeler with a focus on Construction AI. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for meticulously labeling and annotating architectural drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to train and refine our cutting-edge artificial intelligence systems. Your work will directly contribute to developing AI solutions that automate and optimize various aspects of the construction and design process, from quantity take-offs to clash detection and progress tracking. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of architectural conventions, and a desire to be at the forefront of construction technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately label and annotate architectural drawings, structural plans, MEP layouts, and 3D models according to defined guidelines.
- Categorize and segment various building components, elements, and features within complex datasets.
- Perform quality control checks on labeled data to ensure high accuracy and consistency.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve labeling tools and guidelines.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to understand project requirements and data needs.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and meet daily/weekly labeling targets.
- Document complex labeling scenarios and contribute to knowledge base articles.
- Stay updated with industry best practices in architectural drafting and construction terminology.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction drawings, including blueprints, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) or 3D modeling environments (viewing capabilities at a minimum).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software tools quickly.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in data labeling, annotation, or quality assurance roles.
- Experience with GIS software or geospatial data.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in computer vision.
- Portfolio demonstrating ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
