Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Apple Interface Designer to join our product design team. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across our mobile (iOS) and desktop platforms, ensuring intuitive, elegant, and performance-driven interfaces. Your expertise in Apple’s human interface guidelines and a keen eye for detail will be crucial in delivering world-class travel experiences. This role involves end-to-end design, from concept to implementation, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype intuitive, user-centered interfaces for iOS applications and macOS desktop experiences, adhering to Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Translate concepts into wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across all Apple platforms.
  • Present and defend designs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, especially within the Apple ecosystem.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful mobile and desktop design projects, particularly for Apple platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).
  • Experience with user-centered design methodologies and usability principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Experience with animation and motion design for user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with front-end development (SwiftUI, UIKit, HTML, CSS) to understand technical constraints.
  • Experience designing for international markets.
  • Previous experience in the travel technology industry.
