Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Apple Global Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. In this remote role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a global workforce, with a specific focus on our Apple-related accounts or partnerships. You will be responsible for a variety of payroll tasks, from data entry and verification to compliance and reporting, contributing significantly to the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process global payroll accurately and in a timely manner for assigned regions, adhering to all statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, leave, deductions, and new hire information.
  • Administer employee benefits and deductions, ensuring correct application and compliance.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll activities, including tax filings and audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Utilize payroll software efficiently for data input, processing, and report generation.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a global or large-scale environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or CIPP qualification.
  • Experience with Apple-specific payroll systems or related global tech companies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience with multi-currency payroll processing.
