Job Description

Are you looking for a fun and active summer job where you can make a real difference to people’s holidays? Parkdean Resorts is seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as a Camping Park Assistant for the summer season. This role is perfect for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys interacting with people, and is eager to contribute to a positive holiday experience. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our camping facilities, assisting guests, and maintaining the park’s high standards of cleanliness and safety. This is an on-site position based at our beautiful Cambridge location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing information about the park and local area.
  • Help guests with pitch allocation and setup, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of communal areas, including washrooms, reception, and activity zones.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks around the park, such as litter picking, basic groundskeeping, and general upkeep.
  • Support the activities team with setting up and supervising various guest activities and events.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
  • Operate reception desk duties, including check-ins, check-outs, and processing payments.

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by a seasonal role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic first aid certification.
  • Interest in camping, caravanning, or outdoor recreation.
