Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Aerosol Can Capping Worker to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in Ada, Michigan. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and secure capping of aerosol cans on a high-speed conveyor line. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic production environment while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated aerosol can capping machinery on a fast-moving conveyor line.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure all cans are properly capped, sealed, and free from defects.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain optimal capping performance and product quality.
  • Load and replenish capping materials (e.g., caps) efficiently and safely.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or product quality issues to supervisors immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and quality control.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line setting, particularly with conveyor systems.
  • Experience with quality control checks in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or similar quality standards.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
