Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and welcoming individual to join our team as a High School Front Desk Administrator. This crucial role serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, embodying the welcoming and professional spirit of our high school. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to supporting a positive educational environment. You will manage a variety of administrative tasks, handle inquiries, and ensure the smooth operation of the front office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome students, parents, staff, and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, taking messages as needed and providing accurate information.
- Manage the main reception area, ensuring it remains tidy, organized, and presentable.
- Assist with student check-ins/check-outs, late arrivals, and early dismissals, maintaining accurate records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Provide administrative support to school staff, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and school information.
- Assist in coordinating school events and meetings as required.
- Manage school visitor logs and ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Distribute school communications and notices to appropriate individuals or departments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a school office or similar administrative role.

- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish, Cantonese, or Vietnamese) is a plus.
- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
