Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Vineyard Harvest Operatives for the upcoming grape picking season. This temporary role is crucial to the success of our harvest, involving the careful hand-picking of grapes to ensure the highest quality for our wines. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. If you enjoy working outdoors, are reliable, and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply and become an essential part of our winemaking journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully hand-pick grapes from the vines according to quality standards.
- Sort grapes, removing any unsuitable bunches or debris.
- Place picked grapes into bins or crates, ensuring minimal damage.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area within the vineyard.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and vineyard protocols.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily harvest targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or vineyard work is a plus, but not essential.
