Job Description
Aritzia is seeking an experienced Shopify Expert to join our dynamic digital team, focusing specifically on our fashion and apparel e-commerce platforms. This role is crucial for optimizing our online shopping experience, ensuring seamless operations, and driving growth through innovative Shopify solutions. You will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our Shopify Plus stores, integrating third-party applications, and implementing custom features to support our brand’s unique needs and marketing initiatives within the fast-paced fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Shopify Plus themes and applications.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize website performance, user experience (UX), and conversion rates.
- Manage and integrate third-party apps and APIs (e.g., ERP, CRM, marketing automation).
- Perform regular audits of website functionality, security, and compliance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all Shopify-related issues.
- Stay abreast of Shopify updates, industry best practices, and emerging e-commerce technologies.
- Ensure all developments adhere to brand guidelines and technical standards.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Shopify Developer or Expert, specifically with Shopify Plus.
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and conversion optimization.
- Experience with API integrations and developing custom Shopify apps.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Experience working within the fashion or retail industry.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and implementation.
- Familiarity with headless commerce architectures.
- Shopify Certification(s).
