Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as High School Delivery Associates with a focus on daily pay. This role is perfect for those seeking consistent work, the opportunity to earn daily, and a chance to make a tangible impact on customer satisfaction. As a Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering Amazon packages to customers in the Topeka area. We prioritize safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload packages into delivery vehicles.
- Navigate assigned routes in various weather conditions, delivering packages to residential and commercial locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and package tracking.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Meet daily delivery targets and standards.
Required Skills
- Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and routing software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
