Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Policy Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare policies and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making, advocacy efforts, and compliance initiatives within Centura Health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and a passion for healthcare policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of healthcare legislation, regulations, and policy proposals.
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, identifying potential impacts on Centura Health's operations and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Government Affairs, Operations) to assess policy implications and develop strategic responses.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, coalitions, and advocacy initiatives to represent Centura Health's interests.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on policy matters to support decision-making and ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain a robust knowledge base of relevant healthcare policy trends and issues.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in policy research and analysis, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or a related advanced degree.
- Familiarity with Colorado state healthcare policies and regulations.
- Experience working with legislative bodies or government agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence policy outcomes through analysis and advocacy.
