Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Shopify Specialist with a strong focus on growth and conversion to join our dynamic remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our Shopify e-commerce platform to enhance user experience, drive sales, and improve conversion rates across all digital touchpoints. You will leverage your expertise in e-commerce best practices, platform capabilities, and analytical tools to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic solutions. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for turning data insights into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the Shopify store content, product listings, and collections to ensure accuracy, appeal, and SEO best practices.
- Implement and oversee A/B tests and other conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve key metrics.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4) to identify trends, issues, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns, landing page creation, and email marketing integration.
- Work with development teams to implement new features, apps, and integrations, ensuring functionality and user experience.
- Conduct regular audits of the Shopify store to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance with e-commerce standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and industry best practices.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform future e-commerce strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in managing and optimizing Shopify or Shopify Plus platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with e-commerce analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics 4.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to Shopify.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and liquid templating for minor front-end adjustments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Shopify Plus and its advanced features.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Previous experience in the retail or apparel industry.
