Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Financial Admin Support professional to join our team in Canary Wharf. This role will primarily involve providing comprehensive administrative and financial support for various Google-related projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of project finances, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating timely processing of invoices and expenses. Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner for Google-related projects.
  • Reconcile financial statements and project budgets, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and project summaries for internal review and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, vendors, and internal finance teams regarding financial matters.
  • Support the onboarding process for new project vendors and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the financial operations of the project team.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and record-keeping.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with various internal and external parties.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or financial support role, preferably within a project-based environment.
  • Familiarity with financial software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience working with or supporting projects related to technology companies or large corporate clients.
